Point of Sale

Offline-first register, cash management and receipts.

Overview

POS is an offline-first register that keeps selling even without a connection, then replays each session into Sales, Inventory and Accounting when it reconnects. It includes cash management, lot/FEFO sync and phone-number capture, so the shop floor and the back office never drift apart.

Key features

Offline-first

Sell offline and replay sessions into the back office safely.

Cash management

Open/close drawers with cash counts and variance tracking.

Receipts

Printed and digital receipts tied to the sales ledger.

How to use it

1. Open a register
Open a drawer with a starting cash count to begin the shift.
2. Sell offline-first
Keep selling even without a connection; sessions replay into Sales, Inventory and Accounting once you reconnect.
3. Manage cash
Record cash-in/out and close the drawer with a count and variance tracking; lot/FEFO sync keeps stock accurate.
4. Issue receipts
Give the customer a printed or digital receipt, tied straight into the sales ledger.

Roles & permissions

POS permissions govern the register; replayed sessions post through the very same Sales, Inventory and Accounting engines as the back office, so a POS sale is a real sale. Phone-number capture links walk-in sales to customers.
