How to use it
1. Add a product
Create a good or service with its SKU, unit, barcode and price/cost — the catalog everything else references.
2. Build variants
Attribute-driven variant families generate clean {base}-{n} SKUs; ProductVariant::displayName() is the single label used everywhere.
3. Define units & kits
Set up units (with fractions where allowed) and composite kits whose components each carry their own unit.
4. Price it
The cost and price fields feed straight into sales, purchasing and inventory valuation.
