Marketplace

Products, editions, licensing and the customer portal.

Overview

Marketplace is the vendor backend for selling ERPlite editions and add-ons. It manages the product catalog, releases and downloads, customers and their purchase licenses, and a tokenized customer portal where licensed buyers file support requests — the same licensing that gates product support in this Help Center.

Key features

Catalog

Products, editions, releases and download management.

Licensing

Issue and validate license keys and Envato codes.

Customer portal

Tokenized portal for licensed buyers to get support.

How to use it

1. Publish products
Manage products, their editions, releases and downloadable packages from the hub backend.
2. Issue licenses
Issue license keys tied to a customer, and accept Envato purchase codes for marketplace buyers.
3. Validate
Activate and validate a license against a domain; support windows determine ongoing eligibility.
4. Support buyers
A tokenized customer portal lets licensed buyers file and follow support tickets.

Roles & permissions

Marketplace is the hub/vendor backend (the hub edition). Licenses actually live in the Licensing module (the licenses table); the customer portal is token-based. This is the same licensing that gates the Help Center’s Product Support category.

Questions about this module

Where are licenses stored?
In the Licensing module’s licenses table — not inside Marketplace itself.
What counts as a valid license?
An active license still within its support window, or a verified Envato purchase code.
How do buyers get support?
Through the tokenized customer portal and the Help Center’s Product Support category.
